This extraordinary hand-embroidered Shipibo textile unfolds as a circular visionary universe, bringing together serpentine movement, medicinal plants, ceremonial vessels, sacred geometry, and intricate Kene-inspired pathways.

At its center, the composition forms a mandala-like portal. Serpents move around the circle, weaving between leaves, spirals, celestial forms, and geometric patterns. Within Amazonian visionary art, the serpent is a powerful and recurring presence, often associated with transformation, knowledge, the mysteries of the forest, and experiences arising within plant-centered ceremonial traditions.

Surrounding this central world, branches and leaves extend throughout the tapestry alongside vessels that evoke the preparation and ceremonial use of plants. The entire composition seems interconnected: plant, serpent, vessel, vision, song, and prayer become parts of the same living system.
